Methods package 1
- AOS340 Qualitative Methods (5 ECTS) and AOS341 Quantitative Methods (5 ECTS)
- Both courses in methods package 1 require basic background in statistics or research methods.
Methods package 2
- ECN201 Econometrics (10 ECTS) or ECN301 Econometric Methods (10 ECTS)
- ECN201 Econometrics requires the equivalent of MATH100 Introductory Mathematics/ECN102 Introduction to Mathematics for Economists, STAT100 Statistics and ECN215 Intermediate Microeconomics - Consumers, Producers, Market and Welfare.
- ECN301 Econometric Methods requires the equivalent of ECN201 Econometrics.
- It is possible to also choose both ECN201 (1st semester) and ECN301 (3rd semester), but this means that none of the proposed profiles can be chosen.
** Electives/specialization profile
The 20 ECTS of electives in the program can be either in one of the profiles in Energy Economics or Ecological Economics, or freely chosen among the courses offered at NMBU. In addition to the profiles, we provide a list of suggested/recommended courses.
