About

Estonian University of Life Sciences (EMU) is located in the student city of Tartu, which is Estonia's second largest city (101,000 inhabitants). Over 40% of the population is under 30 years of age. The university has around 3,700 students and focuses on sustainable development in agriculture, forestry, food science and environmental studies.

Estonian University of Life Sciences is, together with NMBU, part of ELLS - Euroleague for Life Sciences

  • The agreement applies to agricultural subjects, economics, landscape architecture. You can take courses from several different departments/institutes as long as you have the required prior knowledge

    Length of stay

    1 - 2 semesters

  • For all Erasmus agreements, you must have completed 60 credits before your stay abroad begins.

  • English and Estonian. EMU requires B2 in English skills. It can, among other things, be documented with a minimum of 4 in English from VGS.

  • Autumn semester: September - December/January.
    Spring semester: February - June.
