About

Estonian University of Life Sciences (EMU) is located in the student city of Tartu, which is Estonia's second largest city (101,000 inhabitants). Over 40% of the population is under 30 years of age. The university has around 3,700 students and focuses on sustainable development in agriculture, forestry, food science and environmental studies.

• The Agreement

  The agreement applies to agricultural subjects, economics, landscape architecture. You can take courses from several different departments/institutes as long as you have the required prior knowledge

  Length of stay

  1 - 2 semesters

• Who can apply

  For all Erasmus agreements, you must have completed 60 credits before your stay abroad begins.

• Language of Instruction

  English and Estonian. EMU requires B2 in English skills. It can, among other things, be documented with a minimum of 4 in English from VGS.

• Semester timing

  Autumn semester: September - December/January.
  Spring semester: February - June.

• Tuition Fees

  Erasmus students must pay the semester fee and register for the semester at NMBU for the semester they are abroad, but then do not have to
