
Ramzi Hassan is an Associate Professor at the School of Landscape Architecture, Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), and the founder and head of the Virtual Reality Lab. The VR-Lab serves as an arena for experimentation with advanced 3D visualization technologies for the communication of design scenarios, cultural heritage preservation, environmental analysis, and applications related to the built environment. Hassan’s research, teaching, and publications focus on digital methods in landscape architecture and urban design. His current work investigates interactive environments and the role of virtual technologies and artificial intelligence in the interpretation and reconstruction of cultural heritage and historically significant landscapes, as well as their use as storytelling media for communication and public engagement.
