Starting January 11th, 2024, Feide will use a Microsoft solution for signin in.
From this date the fields for username and password will disappear from the Feide page, and you will find a button that takes you to Microsoft login ("Use work or school account"). If you are not already logged into Microsoft, you must log in with your full NMBU email address and your password.
The most commonly used Feide services, and thus affected by the change are:
Canvas, Studentweb, EduGAIN, TimeEdit, P360, Nettskjema, Oria, eValg, Landax, FS, Zoom, Cristin, WiseFlow, and Alma.
How the change will affect you:
When logging into a Feide service from January 11th, you must use your full NMBU email address for login, not your short username.
When logging into Microsoft, you may be asked for two-factor authntication to confirm your identity.

This change is made to make login both easier and more secure:
- Easier because you don't need to log in again to Feide if you are already logged into a Microsoft service (e.g. Microsoft 365 and NMBUhjelp), and because the login is remembered for a certain number of days on the device.

- More secure because modern security mechanisms in Microsoft ensure a safer login.
