About the study place

The University of Copenhagen is Denmark’s largest educational- and research institution within natural sciences. The university is known for its good student environment and its centrally-located campus. NMBU has an agreement with two faculties: the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Health and Medical Science.

  • About the Agreement

    The agreement covers landscape architecture, food sciences, economics/business and agricultural subjects.
    Students taking a master’s degree in animal sciences can take courses from the faculty for health sciences.

    Who Can Apply
    For all Erasmus and agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

  • Number of Study Places

    Science: Four places for one semester (one for each subject area in Agricultural Business, Agriculture, Food Science and Landscape Architecture).
    Health: One place per year (only for students taking a master’s in animal sciences).

  • Language of Teaching

    Danish and English.

  • Semesterets varighet ved avtaleuniversitetet

    Autumn semester: late August – January.
    Summer semester: late January - June.

  • Tuition fees

    Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.

  • Accommodation

    The university can offer help with finding a place to live.
