Universitat de Barcelona is located in one of Europe's largest study cities with as many as 200,000 students and 11,000 professors across 200 universities. Barcelona can also offer a rich cultural life, beautiful beaches and fantastic architecture. Although Barcelona is a world metropolis, the city has still strongly preserved its exuberant Spanish tradition. The University of Barcelona is an established university with a long history, and is concerned with international cooperation and research.

• Agreement

  The agreement applies to food science (bachelor's and master's level). The agreement is with the Faculty of Pharmacy, and 51% of the courses MUST be taken from this faculty.

  Length of stay

  1 - 2 semesters

• Who can apply

  All Erasmus+ agreements require the completion of 60ECTS prior to a stay abroad begins.

• Language of instruction

  English and Spanish/Catalan

• Semester timing

  Autumn semester: September - February
  Spring semester: February - June

• Tuition Fees

  Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
