• Expertise

  Our group is composed of researchers with expertise in entomology, trophical interactions, decomposition, interactions aboveground-belowground, chemical defence, carbon and nitrogen circulation as well as water use of trees. Our research includes effects of forestry and climate change on ecosystem function.

  At present, we run projects on longterm effects of clear-cutting on carbon storage, biodiversity and ecosystem function, impact of climate change on growth and health of spruce forests, and on methods for mapping spruce forests with high biodiversity.
