About semester registration and semester fee
You will do this in the Student web. You must register for the semester in the beginning of each semester, this is stipulated in the academic regulations in section 17-2 Obligations. The same applies to the semester fee.
Deadlines:
- 15 September in the autumn semester
- 1 February in the spring semester
Please note that semester fee is a separate fee to be paid to the student welfare association and is a separate fee to the tuition fee applicable for international students.
How to make changes in your education plan in the Student web
If you want to add more courses to your education plan, select Studies from the top menu and Show education plan.
For some study programmes, an option to move courses to a later semester is available.
During the first semesters, you will most likely receive warnings on Studentweb telling you that you haven`t registered all courses in your plan yet. The alerts will disappear as and when you register courses into your education plan.
You may at any time check the courses you have been registered to in the top menu item “My active courses”. Courses that have been registered will show with two checked boxes in green, one for the lectures and one for the exams.
If any of the mandatory courses do not show in “My active courses” you are yourself responsible for registering the courses, this also applies to the courses that have not been set in your education plan.
You may withdraw from lectures and exams in “My active courses”. You may also withdraw courses from the education plan.
Registering and withdrawing courses must be completed within the deadlines provided in the Academic calendar.
