The Student Information Centre (SIT) offers diverse services to students and prospective students. SIT is located on the ground floor of the Clock Building. We are able to give answer to most questions, or will help get in touch with the correct person.

What is SIT?
1) The Student Information Services
In the SIT reception area, you will encounter students and staff who can assist you on a drop-in basis. There is always someone available during opening hours to answers questions about becoming a student, starting your studies, semester fee payment, transcript of records, study permits, course registration, thesis submission and many other administrative matters related to your studies. Occasionally they organise special interest meetings in the reception area.
2) The Admissions Office
To receive guidance on the admission process you should send an e-mail to admission@nmbu.no. You can find more information on the admission website.
3) Exchange
For NMBU students who want to study abroad: The exchange team is available for students considering study abroad as part of their NMBU degree. You can discuss the various exchange agreements, admission requirements, application procedures, stipend/scholarship options, the NOVA University Network and much more. Learn more on our webpage for outgoing students.
For international students and exchange students at NMBU: You can receive guidance on moving to Norway, local government registrations, signing of exchange forms, study permits and more. Learn more on our webpage for incoming students.
