The primary role of NMBU’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) is to ensure that NMBU processes personal data in compliance with the data protection regulations. The DPO also has a vital role when NMBU carries out privacy impact assessments (DPIA).

NMBU has appointed Hanne Pernille Gulbrandsen from Deloitte Legal as NMBU’s DPO.

Her main task is to inform and advise the management, staff, and students at NMBU about NMBU’s obligations under the privacy legislation.

As an employee or student, you can contact the DPO to find out if and why NMBU processes personal data about you, and with questions about the exercise of your rights according to the data protection regulations. The same applies to respondents in any of NMBU's research projects.
