About this course
The first iteration of this course is planned for the academic year 2025/2026, and builds in particular on the courses THT280 and THT291. The teaching is structured around seminars and case studies. A list of preliminary potential topics are:
- Source separated wastewater: Rehabilitation and development of new sites
- Waste from the aquaculture industry
- Solid (organic) waste companies
- Food processing industry
- Use of organic polymers in water/wastewater treatment
- Reuse potential of recovered materials, constraints (law and regulations/environment/health/economics)
- Recent research approaches
- Use of various software to assess sustainability, health, environmental impact and cost in the circular economy perspective
- Oral (seminar) and written reporting
