About this course
The topic is project based. The students shall work in groups and carry out a project including project planning, feed production, and carrying out a nutritional experiment with fish (salmonids), and relevant analyses. The students will be supervised through lectures given bu specialists in feed development, feed ingredients, fish nutrition, and growth. The results shall be presented by the students at the end of the course.

- Plan and supervise formulation and processing of fish feeds for based on nutrition, physiology, environment, and sustainability
- Work in team to plan, conduct and report hypothesis-based nutrition research aiming at improved performance in farmed fish
General competence
- Collect, analyse, and synthesize information and use it to present a given topic in nutrition of predatory or omnivorous farmed fish
