The academic foundation of spatial professions
Within this scope of activity, we map and investigate the academic foundations of the spatial professions.
We explore the historical, theoretical and ideological foundations of various professions within spatial planning, examining the relationship between the ethical issues of planning in light of the methods and practices used.
We develop, pilot, and evaluate an Ex Fac (cross-faculty) course in spatial planning, proposed as an introductory course across various degree programmes. Through this educational development work, our aim is to initiate a broad discussion on the academic foundations of spatial planning.
