Jeg er statistiker med forskningsbakgrunn fra kvinnehelse og glukosemetabolisme, og med 20 års erfaring fra biostatistisk veiledning av forskere ved Oslo universitetssykehus. I 2014 forsvarte jeg en doktorgrad i statistisk analyse av blodsukkerkurver hos gravide kvinner. Min statistiske hovedinteresse er anvendelser av funksjonell dataanalyse i skjæringspunktet mellom biologi, fysiologi og statistikk. Jeg fikk drømmejobben ved NMBU i januar 2019.
Jeg brenner for undervisning og (forsknings)formidling. Jeg har blant annet skrevet statistikkboka Tall forteller sammen med kollega Jo Røislien, driver den populærvitenskapelige strikkebloggen Statistrikk, var representert på UNESCOs kunstutstilling Creative resilience, og høsten 2022 oppnådde jeg statusen Merittert underviser.

Statistician with background from the clinical/physiological research fields of women's health and glucose metabolism, and with a PhD about the statistical analysis of blood glucose curves in pregnant women. My main interests are functional data analysis, teaching and science communication. I co-authored the untraditional statistics book Tall forteller with colleague Jo Røislien, and run the popular science knitting blog Statistrikk (in Norwegian only).
