Welcome to our new students!

Combining practices from landscape architecture and studies in global development, planning and ecology, this programme offers a unique approach to global environmental and social challenges.

Programme for Introduction Week 2024 (runs from 5 - 9 August)

  • Monday 12 August
  • 10:30 (Kassa Nova, KA 332A):

    Meet and greet. Meeting leader: Kerstin Potthoff
  • Welcome by the Vice Dean of Department for landscape architecture and presentation of the GLA-staff/Nina Berre
  • Presentation of the students and their backgrounds: Kerstin Potthoff
  • Welcome by the second year M-GLA students – Karina Tonietto Reis and colleagues
  • 11:15

    Lunch outside the Clock building (Urbygningen) with the other study programs at ILA and LANDSAM
  • 12:15-14:15 (KA332A):
  • - Presentation of the study program by Kerstin Potthoff (approx. 30 min)
  • - Presentation of GLA301 by Kerstin Potthoff (approx. 10 min)
  • - Presentation of GLA302 by Jorg Sieweke (approx. 10 min)
  • - Presentation of GLA303 by Lei Gao (approx. 10 min)
  • - Information from the study advisor/LANDSAM study administration (max 30 minutes)
  • Tuesday 13 August

    On Tuesday August 13th the new students will continue to attend GLA301. The schedule can be found in CANVAS and GLA301. On Friday 16th the class will close at 12 so that the students can attend the matriculation ceremony.
  • Friday 16 August

    GLA301 will finish at 12:00 so that students can attend the matriculation ceremony.
