Örebro University was founded in 1977, but can trace its educational history back to the 1960s. Örebro University is known for its high-quality research and has strong research communities in medicine, psychology, environmental science and social sciences.

    University-wide agreement.

    Length of Exchange

    1 or 2 semesters.

  • Who Can Apply

    All Erasmus+ agreements require the completion of 60ECTS prior to a stay abroad begins.

  • Language of Instruction

    English and swedish. Örebro requires B2 in english. It can, among other things, be documented with a minimum of 4 in english from VGS.

  • Semester timing

    Autumn semester: September - January.
    Spring semester: January - June.

    Academic calendar

  • Tuition Fees

    Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
