Activate user account or change password

As a new student, you must first activate your NMBU user account (Feide login) at https://tilgang.sikt.no/nmbu

Once your user account has been activated, you will get access to:

• Studentweb
• Canvas (the digital course room with information about the course)
• Eduroam (wireless nettwork)
• other IT services which require Feide login

IMPORTANT: Remember your username and e-mail address (for new users from autumn 2024 these will be identical). You will need your e-mail address to access all of the tools your will use throughout your education.

Activate secure logon

To access some NMBU services outside of campus, you will need a secure logon in addition to your password, also known as two-factor authentication.
