Contact utveksling@nmbu.no for further details on how to apply.

Note: north2north tuition free exchange spots are more competitive then with NMBU exchange partnerships. Rather than competition based on a NMBU institutional level, one is competing with students from within all north2north members.

Important:

It is important that students applying to north2north insitutions outside of Europe, and with whom NMBU does not also have a bilateral institutional agreement, are aware of possible consequences related to your privacy protection when studying outside the EU.

In Norway, we have rules that ensure a considered and safe use of personal data. This regulation applies to the entire EEA area. The purpose is to protect the individual from privacy infringement when personal data is processed. Among many things, this regulation shall ensure that information is collected for a specific purpose, and is not reused for other purposes, without any statutory obligations being fulfilled. The act shall also ensure that you as the owner of the data are informed about how your personal data is used.

You must be aware that certain countries, such as the United States, have their own laws that give the authorities the right to use information about you for purposes for which you have neither accepted nor for which you are informed.

When you wish to travel as an exchange student to a country outside the EEA, NMBU has assumed that this is something you do voluntarily, and that you understand that the country you are travelling to has other or no rules related to the use of your personal data.

  • The purpose of the call is to strengthen connections and relations between Norwegian and foreign north2north institutions and to stimulate increased student and employee mobility. Both academic and administrative staff can apply for support for exchange to north2north institutions at set rates. Norwegian institutions that wish to invite employees from North American and Scottish n2n partners can apply for support for travel and accommodation for incoming employees . Incoming employees fill in the same application form as outgoing employees.
