About

University of Alicante is located in one of the fastest growing cities in Spain, with an economy based mainly on tourism and wine production. For several years, the city has been among Norwegians' favorite destinations, and several Scandinavians are partially or completely permanent residents. The University of Alicante was established in 1979 and has a campus with 32,000 students. Around 4,000 students are international. The university is concerned with the high quality of its study programmes.

  • The agreement applies to natural sciences and economics/administration (only bachelor's level).

    Natural sciences: 4 places in one semester each. Note that it is not possible to take courses outside (Natural) Sciences and that the number of courses is limited.

    Finance and administration: Two places in one semester each.

    Length of stay

    1 - 2 semesters

  • All Erasmus+ agreements require the completion of 60ECTS prior to a stay abroad begins.

  • English and Spanish. The university offers 5 ECTS Spanish courses for exchange students.

  • Autumn semester: September - January

    Spring semester: January - June

  • Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
