About the University
DTU is Denmark’s highest regarded technical university, and is recognized internationally as a leading university in the areas of the technical and the natural sciences. The campus is located in Lyngby, slightly north of Copenhagen, and has about 9000 students. Approximately 1000 of them are international students. The university has a strong focus on experimental education and creating an atmosphere inducive to innovation. Furthermore, DTU’s large green campus is a magnet for life in the suburbs north of Copenhagen.
The agreement is open to all NMBU students, but it is most relevant for students within the subject areas of biotechnology, food sciences, engineering, water /environment, aquaculture, industrial economics, chemistry and building.
Who Can ApplyFor all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.
NB! At DTU it is also required that exchange students take at least 25 ECTS credits per semester.The agreement has 5 study places per semester or 2.5 per year.
Applicants are chosen according to average grade scores.
DTU require at the minimum an average grade of C.1 - 2 semesters.
Danish and English
First semester: late August – December /January
Second semester: late January – May/JuneErasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
