About this course

The course introduces to the basic principles of building analysis by observing buildings. The course focuses on the interactive relation between architecture, structure, building materials and technical installations. By observing existing buildings the course is training the students ability to describe and analyse different solutions in buildings.

Learning outcome

The students will learn to observe and understand the complex relation between architecture, construction, technical design and interior of buildings.

  • Examiner scheme
    The external and internal examiner jointly prepare the exam questions and the correction manual. The external examiner reviews the internal examiner's examination results by correcting a random sample of candidates exams as a calibration according to the Department's guidelines for examination markings.
