University of Sydney offers a Short Term Study Abroad Program with a wide variety of classes including a featured Sydney Business Practicum & Sydney Sustainability Programs as well as classes across Engineering, Health Sciences, Humanities, Fine Arts & Internships. Students in the program have the guaranteed option of living on campus at our Queen Mary Building (although this is no longer mandatory), and will have access to airport pickups, a full social program including welcome and farewell events, local student mentoring and all campus facilities.

2024 Classes

Students joining our Short Term 2024 program enrol into 1 or 2 units of study, 1 of which could be a credit-bearing internship. Students who enrol into ARTS2600 must also enrol in another unit of study at the same time and should keep in mind that placements are particularly competitive in the Short Term program.

Published nomination deadline: 15 March 2024

Arrival and Orientation: 16 June 2024 or earlier

Classes and exams: 17 June to 19 July 2024

Cost:

  • One unit of study: $3,150 AUD
  • Two units of study: $6,300 AUD
  • Accommodation for up to 6 weeks:$2,100 - $2,995 AUD (indicative rates based on 2023)
